This website is being developed by Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust as an impartial information and support hub for patients and everyone with an interest in past breastcare services at Solihull Hospital and, in particular, some of the surgical procedures carried out by Mr Ian Paterson. It is part of the Trust’s commitment to the open and honest sharing of information and learning. Following the announcement that there is to be an Independent Review of breastcare services at the hospital, we recognise that relevant information will be identified. It will all be published here, so that people with an interest in this important subject can keep up to date with developments. The information is available in a number of alternative languages via Google Translate, and with supporting audio and video material where possible, to assist those with hearing or visual impairments. The site will evolve to offer additional support and advice for breast patients and their friends and families, and to reflect the interests and concerns of people who use it as a resource.
